2.Hippo Clip Connectors
This board-to-board connector is designed for connecting two sections of IP65 resin-coated waterproof LED strips with widths of 5mm, 8mm, or 10mm. It is compatible even when the waterproof material is silicone, as there is no need to strip off the silicone coating.
Key Features:
- Piercing Contact Technology: The pins pierce through the LED strip's FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) to create a secure connection, firmly gripping the FPCB and preventing it from slipping out of the connector.
- Compatibility: Works seamlessly with LED strips featuring 3M VHB red foam adhesive backing, which is too thick for traditional clip-style connectors.

The Installation
1.HIPPO BUCKLE
Open the transparent cover to a 90-degree angle.
2.ALIGNMENT WIRING
Use pliers or another tool to close the transparent cover securely until it clicks into place on both sides of the base.
3.CONNECT PROPERLY
Insert the LED strip into the end of the connector, ensuring the silicone-coated side is facing upward (no need to remove the silicone).
4.END INSTALLATION
Insert the wire directly into the rail slot, ensuring there is no wire stripping required.
