What is 5050 LED Strip?

SMD5050 LED strips contain tri-chip LEDs, where each SMD chip houses three individual LEDs. In white light strips, these three chips are all white LEDs, while in RGB strips, the chips include one red, one green, and one blue LED, allowing for versatile color combinations. Due to their larger size, 5050 LED chips can produce up to 0.2W per chip.
