What is Addressable CCT COB LED Strip?

The Addressable CCT COB LED Strip uses a method where LED chips are directly mounted onto the PCB (Printed Circuit Board), creating a more compact and efficient light source layout. This design eliminates the gaps typically found in traditional SMD LED strips, resulting in more even light distribution and eliminating hot spots and shadowing issues.

This strip is controlled by WS2811 IC and uses SPI control. It is specifically designed for white light applications, offering adjustable color temperature (CCT) and dynamic white lighting effects.   • Visual Inspection: Addressable LED strips typically have an IC (Integrated Circuit) visible on the strip. There are two types: external IC (visible on the surface) and internal IC (within the LED bead, visible only as a small black dot).
  • PCB Line Configuration: A standard RGB LED strip typically has three wires (Red, Green, Blue) plus a common ground. An addressable strip will have three or four wires, including data (Data or DI), clock (Clock or CI), power (V+ or VCC), and ground (GND). The number of wires helps you determine whether the strip is addressable.
